Freeland Film Festival directly benefits frontline NGO Freeland in its work to help the world's most vulnerable people and animals.
Filmmakers are some of the world best storytellers. This film festival brings forward stories that inspire, stories that inspire change.
Film categories will invite entries on themes and issues including wildlife trafficking, human trafficking, conservation issues, with a special focus on Native American lands rights and conservation.
Freeland works in some of the worst trafficking hotspots in the world today, delivering frontline field training, investigation and analysis, behavior change campaigns, establishing alternative livelihoods, conservation and local governance and policy support.
Our annual film festival raises critical awareness and vital funds to continue our work. Implementing this film festival cannot be done without your help. We are currently seeking sponsors in the form of fiscal and or in-kind donations, and public donations to produce a successful, change-making festival in Green Lake, Wisconsin, this September 11th-13th, 2020.
Please consider supporting us! Your contribution will inspire Green Lake, inspire filmmakers, inspire stories and those stories will be part of the rescue and defense of the world's most vulnerable people and wildlife.
